Day-1 HOME/CALGARY, ALBERTA

Your vacation begins in Calgary, where the foothills of the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains. The Heart of the New West, Arrive in Calgary after Immigration and Custom board you coach and Transfer to your hotel 5 Calgary Downtown Suites, or Similar, rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy this western city legendary for its heritage and hospitality

Day-2 CALGARY/BANFF, ALBERTA

After breakfast, Discover Calgary on a city tour including Downtown, Chinatown, Au Claire Market, and the Kensington District. Take a short elevator ride to the top of the Calgary Tower and see an unsurpassed view of the Rocky Mountains to the west. Be sure to walk “out into space” by venturing onto the new glass floor and look directly below at the heart of the city. Leave the flat of the prairies behind and travel a short distance west to the spectacular Canadian Rockies. Upon arrival, explore Banff on a sightseeing tour with stops at Cascade Gardens, one of Canada’s finest historic landscapes and beautiful Bow Falls, later transfer to your hotel Banff International or Similar

Day-3 BANFF, ALBERTA

After Breakfast, we will take you to Banff Gondola, which is located just 5 minutes from the Town of Banff, on the shoulder of Sulphur Mountain, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The 360o view from the upper gondola terminal, view-decks and Summit Ridge interpretive boardwalk, is the very best vantage point in the west. Safely seated in 4 passenger gondola cabins, visitors are transported in 8 minutes to the summit at an elevation of 2,281m (7,486 ft) above sea level. Later drive back to hotel. Rest of the day free for shopping and other personal activities

Day-4 BANFF/LAKE LOUISE/COLUMBIA ICEFIELD/JASPER, ALBERTA

A day of scenic grandeur. First to Lake Louise, its cold turquiose waters a perfect natural mirror reflecting the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Precipitous gorges, snow-capped summits, and lakes of exquisite blues and greens come into view as the coach scales two mountain passes on the journey northward into JASPER NATIONAL PARK. Another highlight on today’s agenda is a stop at the COLUMBIA ICEFIELD for a snowcoach ride on the 1,000-foot-thick Athabasca Glacier. Late this afternoon arrive Jasper and transfer to your Hotel Sawridge Inn or similar.

Day-5 JASPER, ALBERTA

This morning we will take you for half-day tour of one of the most spectacular areas of Jasper National Park. Visit shimmering Patricia and Pyramid Lakes and take a stroll over a rustic footbridge to Pyramid Lake Island. From there travel through the Maligne Valley in search of Osprey, eagle, big horn sheep, mountain goat, moose, elk, deer and bear. Stop at Maligne Canyon where 10,000 years of erosion have created a 165-foot deep gorge. Here you will set off on a short walk to marvel at the Maligne River as it thunders through the canyon in a series of waterfalls. From the canyon, continue to disappearing Medicine Lake and then to spectacular Maligne Lake. Have your cameras ready, as both areas are rich in wildlife and scenery. This afternoon you will have leisure time to explore this beautiful city

Day-6 JASPER/EDMONTON, ALBERTA

After breakfast, we will leave for Edmonton. The driving time is approximately 4.5 hours. The first few hours will provide excellent mountain scenery and then you’ll enter the beginning of Canada’s Prairies before arriving in Edmonton, Alberta’s capital city and home to the world famous West Edmonton Mall. This afternoon you’ll have time to visit the mall from your connecting hotel Fantasy Land

Day 7 EDMONTON, ALBERTA-VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Today you will be transferred by motorcoach to the Edmonton International Airport where you will take a one hour and 30 minute flight to Vancouver. Upon arrival in Vancouver, you will be met by your private motorcoach driver and transferred to your hotel Sandman. You will have a few hours at leisure to check in to your hotel and relax before departing on a four hour city tour of Vancouver. You will see Stanley Park, Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, English Bay, Queen Elizabeth Park and Granville Island. You’ll have plenty of time to get off the motorcoach and spend some time enjoying each of these popular Vancouver attractions.

Day 8 VANCOUVER/WHISTLER/VANCOUVER

This morning you will depart on a full day tour to mountain paradise. Whistler is a charming mountain village located 2 hours north of Vancouver and is home to the 2010 winter Olympics. Enjoy the breathtaking views and scenic stops along the thrilling Sea-To-Sky Highway. Feel the mist of the spectacular 335-meter Shannon Falls. There is ample time to dine, shop, ride a bike or stroll the trails. Seasonally, ride the Gondola to the Peak of Whistler Mountain. Savour the beautiful views you will experience overlooking Howe Sound on our leisurely ride home.

Day 9 VANCOUVER/VICTORIA/VANCOUVER

This morning, your tour takes you across to Vancouver Island aboard a large & comfortable BC Ferry for a spectacular 90-minute cruise through the Gulf Islands ‘marine wonderland’ .Upon arrival Vancouver Island (Swartz Bay), the tour will continue on to the world-renown Butchart Gardens with their 50-acre display. you’ll enjoy some free time in the Butchart Gardens, and then it’s off to Victoria, BC’s Capital City for a city tour. Highlights include Beacon Hill Park, Chinatown, Empress Hotel, and the Parliament Buildings. Return to Vancouver in the late evening.

Day 12 JUNEAU, ALASKA

2 pm arrive at Juneau

Located at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, the town of Juneau has the massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields at its back door. Juneau is the place to let your imagination run wild. Explore the lush Tongass National Forest. Visit the rustic shops in town. Or get out and kayak, dogsled, raft, hike, whale watch, flightsee or fish. There s no end to the adventure because of the long daylight hours. Climb aboard the Mt. Roberts Tramway for a great spot to hike and shoot a souvenir photo.

Day 13 SKAGWAY, ALASKA

7 am arrive at Skagway

The sidewalks are all but rolled up in Skagway come winter, so you can only imagine the frightful conditions endured by the gold prospectors who passed through en route to the Yukon, with a mandatory ton of supplies to be hauled with them over the steep and treacherous Trail of ’98. Today, summertime visits to Skagway require nothing of the sort, but you can still ride the antique White Pass & Yukon narrow-gauge railway up through silvery-purple rock faces,past Deadhorse Gulch, to see what it was like back then.

Day 14 GLACIER BAY SCENIC CRUIISING

7 am arrive at Glacier Bay

As Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Glacier Bay National Park; protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape. How does it feel when a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and crashes into the sea? The sound is like thunder. The impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. Hold your breath as you catch the moment on film.

Day 15 KETCHIKEN, ALASKA

Arrive Ketchikan at 7 am

Built out over the water and climbing weathered stairways, Ketchikan clings to the shores of Tongass Narrows and drapes the mountains with a cheerful air. Besides the main attractions- Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village,try a flightseeing trip to breathtaking Misty Fjords National Monument–a transformational adventure not to be missed. These deep water fjords left by retreating glaciers left granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls cascading into placid waters.

The souvenir photos you’ll take from the pontoons of the plane are worth the trip alone.
